Our schedules are constantly updated and closely aligned with their real world counterparts. In addition, we have progressively added and maintained hundreds of codeshare destinations over the years, giving you the freedom to fly beyond the Group’s primary network.
Fly the latest aircraft types including the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, complete with exclusive in-house SIA Group liveries for most major add-on models. Fancy a throwback? Our flexible type policies means you can still operate the aircraft you own and enjoy, with minimal restrictions on equipment swaps and liveries.
The Group offers many opportunities for anyone seeking to learn how commercial airlines operate. From flight planning and fuel calculations to checks and procedures, leverage on our aviation veterans with real-world experience and reference material. With our liberal carry-over policies, you can retain your ranks and hours and pick up right where you left off.
Connect with us on every major platform; Discord, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and a dedicated pilot support system. Participate in regular groupflights and events hosted on the VATSIM network. Here, pilots and staff are one and the same – all here to enjoy the same hobby under Southeast Asia’s premier virtual airline.
As SVAG continues to adapt to evolving pilot preferences and the ever-changing flightsim environment, we are making the following changes to our training and recurrency programmes effective 1 April 2022 and applicable to all current pilots who have yet to complete their SQTs.
New pilots will no longer be required to complete the previously compulsory 6-flight sortie in order to pass Cadet rank and start flying revenue routes. Instead, if no hours are ported over they will begin as Second Officer and allowed to fly anywhere they wish right from the get-go. The first six of these will be closely assessed by the Chief Pilot for safety and competency, with guidance and advice provided where necessary.
For pilots who exceed the allowed infraction limits, they will now be notified privately with no change to rank or imposed restrictions, and hence still be able to fly any route, with the first 4 being closely assessed by the Chief Pilot.
We hope these changes foster greater freedom for both new and existing pilots, with an eye towards cohesion and a positive learning environment for everyone in the same spirit as the greater flightsim community.
